Two T-shirt I designed for a family member, I may do more if this gets a good response.
Competition part 2
I wanted to try something different and decided to go with something a little more child-like. I got the idea from a postcard I picked up. The illustrations had very simplistic people drawn in ink and the watercolour looked rushed. I thought this might be different to your standard paintings. So I used all the iconic parts of my area and used this simplistic style.
Another design I thought of was to using spray paint and stencils, hence why the buildings look cut out and odd. I then used a fine brush to add fine detail. I didn't send this off in the end as I didn't think it was good enough.
This was a random character I come up with on a boring evening. I haven't done a pencil drawing in ages so I thought this would be fun to play with.
